2007 Fall Commencement
Whether researching global human health issues, managing international companies or circling the globe – literally – Michigan State University’s three December commencement speakers are proof that access to education means access to the world and beyond.

Pioneer biologist Ian Wilmut focuses on developing new treatments for human diseases; Peter Löscher brings years of domestic and foreign experience in various pharmaceutical and medical companies to Siemens AG, where he is president and chief executive officer; and Winston E. Scott, former NASA astronaut aboard the Endeavour and Columbia shuttles, is vice president and deputy general manager of Jacobs Engineering, one of the largest engineering contractors in the world.
